In painting the French landscape (her specialty), Anne Sandry is primarily concerned with expressing harmony, by very delicately observing the relationship of each form and tone.
Her repertoire, which includes continuous new depictions of villages, vineyards, florals and castles, reflects the French preoccupation with aesthetics and the need to affirm a true "joie de vivre." |
