American Indian Art Appraisals is a personal property appraisal company. This company specializes in appraising items made by American Indian artists, past and present: rugs, baskets, pottery, jewelry, paintings, prints, textiles, and sculpture. Purpose for Appraisals: insurance, estates, divorce, charitable donation, and personal knowledge. The owner, Leona M. Zastrow, PhD, is a qualified appraiser for American Indian Art. Her qualifications include the following: Member of the Appraisers Association of America Passed the USPAP standards test Taught art (basketry, weaving, jewelry, painting, etc.) to both high school and college American Indian students. Appraised American Indian art for more than 12 years with a client list of over 150 people. Published several books and articles concerning American Indian art and education. Educational background: BA in math and science, MA in art education, PhD in Fine Arts administration. Please add her information card to your source list of personal property appraisers. Dr. Zastrow and her staff will also prepare Inventories of Collections. |
