Arrington's Inn Traveler magazine recently had this to say:
"Loving attention to details permeates the Guadalupe Inn, right down to the punched tin light fixtures and smooth plaster walls. . .
"...guests are treated to heaping portions of breakfast burritos, tortillas, huevos rancheros or what Pete Quintana calls 'The Santa Fe Omelet' all perfected from family recipes and incorporating the red or green chile sauces for which Santa Fe is famous."
Owned and operated by
three members of the Quintana family, the Inn is built on the site
of their grandfather's store on Agua Fria Street, a stone's throw
from the historic Santuario de Guadalupe, one of the oldest churches
in Santa Fe. Agua Fria itself was once the famous Camino Real, an
ancient route connecting northern New Mexico to Mexico, traversed
for centuries by Indian and then Hispanic traders.
Every morning guests of The Guadalupe Inn are served a generous
full, award-winning breakfast featuring home-baked pastries, fruit, pancakes or
an egg dish (such as the Santa Fe Omelette, Huevos Rancheros or
Breakfast Burrito) plus juice, coffee or tea.
The Inn is 6/10 of a mile from the Santa Fe Plaza. Its new, spacious
accommodations feature hand-crafted furniture and fixtures, created
by family members and other skilled local artisans. |
